Advanced 3D modeling and structural analysis for a high-performance desalination plant in Algeria.
3Units took part in the development of the “SONATRAC MED-TVC 20 t/h” desalination plant in Oran, Algeria, delivering a full suite of high-level piping and structural engineering services.
The project included 3D modeling of over 130 piping lines with both primary and secondary supports, insertion of field welds, fabrication drawings and production of the piping layout with support tag placement. 3Units also carried out stress analysis of the steam line using CAESAR II® v14, including the calculation and design of support structures and associated steelworks such as stairways and walkways.
A technically demanding assignment, managed in an integrated manner—confirming 3Units’ expertise in complex industrial plant engineering.
